There were two happy athlets at the Nordic Combined press conference at Ruka, Magnus Moan and Anssi Koivuranta. Moan placed second in last season at the World Cup and he is ready to challenge the last season's winner Koivuranta seriously. Moan is sure that Anssi is he's biggest competitor and it would be very challenging and nice to win him.

Moan said that he is very tense before the competition.

"I'm a little uncertain about my jump, but my skiing has always gone well", he points out.

Moan's goal of the season is of course at the Olympics, but World Cup is also important. He would like to get some good competitions before the Olympics and it would be great to succeed in the season opening.

Moan is happy that Hannu Manninen and Felix Gottwald are back, especially Hannu's return, because they are good friends and he has a feeling that this is the last time they can compete against each other.
