FIS council decided not to use the new rules in Ruka ski jumping competition. The Team competition on friday and the Individual Large Hill competition on saturday, are going to be jumped with traditional rules.

The new rules were used on the summertour, and both athletes and coaches were satisfied with the new system. To change the rules there should have been a unanimous voting, which was not achieved.

The FIS council told that the new rules will be tested later this season on the Team Tour in Germany and in the Nordic Tournament. In Ruka the experiences of the new system will be gotten from the Nordic Combined, where the windcompensation points will be in use for the whole season.
